Marathi Social Media Sammelan, an initiative by Digital Media Premi, celebrates the power of Marathi language and digital free expression. The conference creates a platform to amplify Marathi voices and strengthen its presence across evolving social media landscapes.
01 - THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was to create an altogether new brand identity for the property that can be seamlessly integrated with allied aspects of the conference viz. merchandise, posters, invites, speaker profiles, etc.
02 - THE OBJECTIVES
To create a branding that resonates with the new age look and feel and also to strike a chord with Marathi’s audience on social media with an aim of creating a recall factor for the audience from a perspective of future editions of the conference.

The identity uses simplicity to reflect social media’s accessibility and democratic power. Distinct yet harmonious colors represent unity across platforms while preserving each element’s individuality and unique presence.



04 - RELEVANT & GROUNDED TYPOGRAPHY
It is relevant, contemporary, and signifies the grounded attribute of the language. The font in the brand identity has been kept simple and readable so that the elements can be utilized individually as well as providing ease of execution.
05 - THEME OF THE EVENT 2022
The 2022 event theme celebrated the growing influence of Marathi content in the digital space, highlighting creators, free expression, and the collective power of communities shaping conversations across social media platforms.

06 - COMPOSITION
Our composition system is elegant in its sheer simplicity of use. By defining the grid based on the logo, the system stays flexible and beyond easy to apply. We’ve looked at different frame variants, and how type works in different layouts.
