ABOUT CLIENT
Product Lifecycle Management” (PLM) is one of the software solution offered by Second Thought that helps companies manage all stages of a product’s life cycle, from ideation to retirement.
The PLM software allows businesses to streamline their product development process by centralizing all product-related data in one place, making it easier for teams to collaborate and communicate effectively. It also provides tools for managing product specifications, bills of materials, and other critical data that is required for product design and manufacturing.
Additionally, the PLM software helps companies manage their supply chain and quality control processes, ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
CHALLENGES
PLM apps deal with large amounts of data, which can make it difficult to design an interface that is both comprehensive and easy to navigate.
Designing a messaging system that integrates well with the app’s other features and is easy to use can be a challenge.
Interface that allows for seamless integration with other systems, while also ensuring that the app remains user-friendly and easy to use.
WHAT WE DID?
We worked closely with stakeholders to develop an information architecture that organized the data in a logical and intuitive way.
By prioritized user feedback and used it to inform future updates and improvements. This allowed us to continually refine the app’s design and functionality, ensuring that it remained relevant and useful to its users.
