
Ecoly Bags is a social enterprise creating eco-friendly cotton and jute bags while generating livelihood opportunities for rural women. The challenge was to build a brand identity that could communicate sustainability, empowerment, and credibility through a unified visual system.

Ecoly Bags is a social enterprise founded on the belief that a durable cotton bag made by rural women and chosen by conscious consumers can create meaningful change.
Brand came to us with a powerful mission but no clear brand identity. While the venture was already empowering women through home-based employment and sustainable production, it lacked a visual language to communicate its purpose. Our task was to create an identity that could build trust, tell its story, and support its growth across audiences and touchpoints.

Brand had the story, the product, the community, and the conviction. What the brand didn't have was a brand that could walk into a corporate gifting meeting, stand on a retail shelf, and speak at a pitch competition — all without losing its soul.

Purpose is the product.
Ecoly Bags stands at the intersection of sustainability and women’s empowerment. The identity needed to communicate both values in a way that felt authentic, credible, and scalable.
Rather than focusing only on eco-friendly products, we focused on the larger purpose behind them. This became the foundation for a brand that reflects conscious consumption, community impact, and long-term change.
Rooted in Nature, Designed for Circularity
The identity is built on the idea of bringing nature, purpose, and collective responsibility together in a single, meaningful symbol. By combining the form of cotton with the letter “O” inside a unified circular structure, the logo reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainable solutions while expressing continuity, collaboration, and positive impact. The result is a simple yet distinctive mark that makes the brand’s purpose visible through its very form.
