As Meet Over Coffee launched its app in India, the event became the brand’s first opportunity to connect with a local audience. The visual identity was designed to reflect India’s culture of conversation through a custom typography illustration, creating a cohesive experience across every event touchpoint.
Launching in a new market requires more than announcing a product. It requires creating familiarity.
As Meet Over Coffee entered India, the event identity needed to resonate with local audiences from the very first interaction. The challenge was to interpret the brand’s philosophy through an Indian lens, creating visuals that reflected the warmth, diversity, and spontaneity of conversations shared over coffee.
The identity also needed to remain flexible across multiple event touchpoints while maintaining a consistent visual language throughout the launch experience.
The visual identity was built around the idea that every coffee conversation carries its own story.
Drawing inspiration from India’s diverse culture and everyday interactions, the design combined multilingual typography, expressive lettering, and handcrafted illustrations to create a warm and approachable visual language.
The focus was on capturing the emotion behind conversations, where ideas, friendships, and opportunities naturally come together.
Conversations, Illustrated
At the centre of the event identity was a typography illustration that brought together words, expressions, and visual elements inspired by conversations over coffee.
English, Hindi, and Marathi typography blended with hand-drawn illustrations and cultural references to create a visual narrative that celebrated India’s vibrant conversation culture.
The illustration became the foundation for the event identity,
extending seamlessly across digital and physical touchpoints.
Building the Event Identity
The visual language was developed into a complete event identity system using expressive typography, warm coffee-inspired colours, and handcrafted details.
Each element was designed to work across different formats while maintaining a consistent brand experience, from intimate printed materials to large-scale venue graphics and digital displays.






Coffee Conversations
The poster series explored the simple idea behind Meet Over Coffee: every conversation begins with a moment of connection.
Inspired by the warmth of a shared coffee experience, the artwork uses a close-up coffee cup as the central visual. The steam transforms into expressive illustrations and handwritten elements, symbolising the thoughts, stories, and conversations that emerge over a cup of coffee.
The blend of Indian-inspired details, warm tones, and hand-crafted elements creates a visual that feels familiar, inviting, and rooted in everyday moments.
Designed as a venue communication piece, the poster combines the Meet Over
Coffee identity with an illustration-led approach to encourage interaction.
