Where Ancient Ritual Meets the Modern Shelf
Ghrita Charya is an Ayurvedic wellness brand that draws from two of tradition's most enduring practices. The skincare series is inspired by Shata Dhauta Ghrita — pure cow's ghee washed 100 times until it transforms into a light, cooling, restorative cream. The haircare series is rooted in Taila Paak Vidhi — the classical Ayurvedic method of slow-cooking botanical oils for deep nourishment from root to tip.
Together, the two series form a complete ritual: one that honours the face, the scalp, and the hair with the same patience and care that defines Ayurvedic healing. The brand's design system reflects this unified philosophy — distinct enough to let each series stand on its own, cohesive enough to tell a single story.

In Ayurveda, transformation is achieved through process rather than intervention. This philosophy is embodied in Shata Dhauta Ghrita, a formulation created by repeatedly washing pure cow’s ghee in copper or brass vessels. Through this meticulous ritual, what begins as a dense, rich substance gradually transforms into a soft, refined, cooling cream with enhanced skincare benefits. This gradual transformation became the conceptual foundation of the brand, representing the journey from purity to nourishment.

Nourishing Hair Oil
A cold-pressed Ayurvedic hair oil formulated for deep nourishment and scalp health. The label is structured around the principal botanical — Brahmi — with secondary ingredients listed below in a receding typographic scale.
The illustration combines flowing hair, Ayurvedic herbs, and an oil droplet to symbolize deep nourishment, healthy hair growth, and Charya’s root-to-tip care philosophy inspired by traditional Taila Paak Vidhi.

Purifying Anti-Dandruff Oil
A targeted therapeutic oil for scalp health. The label hierarchy shifts to emphasise the product's function over its botanicals — the benefit statement leads, the ingredient list follows. The bottle shares the same form as the Hair Oil, creating visual unity on shelf.

Handcrafted Neem Wood Comb
The comb is presented in a debossed kraft sleeve — carrying the series identity without obscuring the material of the product itself. The natural wood grain is partially visible from the base, allowing the material to communicate before the packaging is opened.
